Summer is almost over

I uploaded some more pictures into the picture gallery here: http://www.eaglez.net/pictures/v/2008/pics50_jul08profpics/
In the slideshow above we have Sam and her 5 year pictures and TJ and her 18 month pictures which were done in July. It was a very rough session. TJ had a giant bruise and goose egg on her head and was way more interested in running around the studio.
Very interesting time.
In other things we have been up to news: We went day camping with our friends and the kids had a blast. There is a campsite about 20 minutes away from us with a pool. Everyone had fun even though it was raining and we left just in time to miss tornado weather.
Sam is eagerly awaiting Kindergarten which is a mere 16 days away!! She already got her backpack and lunch box and her sister REALLY wanted to have one too. We have her first day on Kindergarten outfit that she picked out all ready to go and I will be sure to post a picture of my first baby off to school!!
Sam has her Kindergarten orientation Aug 26th where she will get to meet her teacher. There are several neighbor kids that are also starting Kindergarten this year. We are getting together with them on Wednesday. They will all ride the bus together and a couple are even in her class.
I helped organize our neighborhoods National Night Out and it was really fun. About half of the neighborhood came out for the event!
TJ is getting to be quite a character. She wants to do all sorts of big girl stuff all by herself like washing her hands, brushing her teeth, and she is even getting interested in using the potty. She can run so fast now too. Her physical therapist is so proud of her and says that at next months meeting we will test her out of therapy and she will be done. Basically, do the same test on her that they did to get her into the program again to show that she has the appropriate motor skills for her age and doesn’t need therapy anymore. We will miss having her come out and play with TJ, but we know that she is just fine now and there are other little kids that need her help.
Finally, you will see a picture of all the hard work Brenden did on our landscaping. We are so happy to have it done and love that we get to enjoy it everyday.
That is it for now.
Rindie
